Mission Hill

In 2014, BHA purchased the old St. Andre's school, convent, rectory and church. BHA renamed this development "The Mission Hill Complex".   Each property is on it's own city lot bounded by Bacon Street, Sullivan Street and High Street. All of the properites are currently under construction. 
 
The school currently has 35 apartments and the convent has been constructed to have 15 apartments.  These apartments are considered to be a Tax-Credit Senior Housing building, which means, it aims to house low-to-moderate income individuals, who are 55 or older.
 
The Rectory's first floor will be home to the Community Partnership for Protecting Children, the summer lunch program for kids and other community based programs. The uppers floors are planned to be converted to affordable housing for families. 
 
The Church has no definite plans as of yet but will hopefully be turned into a space for the community.
ST. ANDRE'S SCHOOL AT MISSION HILL
The school currently has 35 apartments. This year all of the apartments have undergone renovations, which included putting new carpets, kitchen tiles, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, toilets and windows into the units. The halls, offices and community room have also been redone.
 
South Portland Housing has been contracted by the owners to manage and maintain the school and convent.  Seniors 55 year old and older are encouraged to apply.
 
 
 
MEET THE OFFICE STAFF
 
MARY MARSTON  is the Property Director at St. Andre’s. She is responsible for the financial and physical upkeep of the properties. She also helps support the site staff with their work at the property.
 
DARLENE STUART   is the Property Manager at St. Andre's, which means she is responsible for new move-ins, recertification, and also, to follow up with any concerns residents may have.
 
​​VICKY EDGERLY & BETH TUFTS are the Resident Service Coordinators for St. Andre’s. Their job is to act as liaisons between management and residents. Vicky and Beth are also available to help assist residents in finding and providing resources for their current needs.

THE CONVENT AT MISSION HILL

The Convent was completed in spring of 2016 and a we are taking applications for the wait list.
 
The Convent has 15 units. 3  are studio apartments and 12 are one bedroom apartments.

It has on-site laundry, resident parking, elevator access, 24- hour emergency maintenace, a shared community room and a reduced cable TV package.

Heat and hot water included.
 
This is a 55 and older building. It has the same office and management staff as the school.

The current income guidelines are $22,850-$31,320. +/-
